Macaroon making on menu for French culture festival

A SERIES of events celebrating French culture will be held later this month.

The Franco-Fête Festival takes place annually in French-speaking countries and the Jersey branch of l'Alliance Française will once again be joining other branches worldwide in offering a variety of activities.

A photography exhibition at Alliance Française at 5 Library Place, featuring the work of Yohanne Lamoulère and Franck Pourcel, who documented Marseille's poorer neighbourhoods, will kick-start the festival.

There will also be macaroon-making workshops and a quiz night in English and French.

Monday 13 March to 5 April, preview at 5.30 pm: Marseille / Street Level photography exhibition at Alliance Française, 5 Library Place

Thursday 16 at 4.30 pm and Sunday 19 March at 9 am: Macaroon making workshop

Friday 17 March, 5.45 pm: screening of La Grande Séduction

Friday 24 March, 6.30 pm: Le Grand Quizz at the Post Horn
