Dale Minikin (54), who posted on the Facebook group the Real Rock – putting Jersey first under the username’Dale Jersey’, pleaded guilty to offences under the Telecommunications Law.
In one post Minikin, who was defended by Advocate Jean-Marie Renouf, said of how to solve the refugee crisis ‘shoot them. Job done.’
Delivering her sentence, Relief Magistrate Sarah Fitz said comments posted on Facebook can spread quickly and could contribute to inciting hatred and violence.
