And after being brought in for questioning by police on suspicion of dangerous driving, the defendant attempted to hide the evidence by deleting the footage from the website – only to be further charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The 32-year-old was given a 180-hour community service order by the Royal Court yesterday.

The court heard that he invested ten of thousands in his ‘dream car’ – a Nissan Skyline – including around £30,000 in repairs and modifications. But he will not be driving his prized possession in the near future, as he was banned from the roads for three years.
