The shelter has been installed near the Breakwater Café at St Catherine as part of the Infrastructure Department’s Sustainable Transport Policy to reduce traffic and increase the number of people travelling by bus.
According to the department, parking spaces that have been lost at St Catherine as a result of the new shelter will be reallocated nearby where the old bus stop used to be.
