Don’t forget us on road safety spending, says Constable of St Saviour

Sadie Le Sueur Rennard says that the concentration of schools at Mont Millais and the urban sprawl into the parish from St Helier, coupled with vehicles ‘being driven at excessive speed’, were taking their toll on parish life.

She was speaking yesterday at a hearing of the Environment Scrutiny Panel, of which she is a member, convened for its quarterly meeting to ask questions of Environment Minister Steve Luce.

Having seen the road improvements schemes undertaken in St Aubin, St Mary and St Peter’s Valley, she said she was angry that nothing similar had been put in place in St Saviour.
