The 119-metre super-yacht – named Motor Yacht A so it appears first in shipping registries – anchored in St Aubin’s Bay yesterday after a brief stop-over in Guernsey.
As well as being pricey, it is regarded as one of the world’s more unusual yachts, as it has been designed with a hull that looks upside down and resembles a submarine.
The vessel is owned by Andrey Melnichenko (44) who, with a fortune of about £8.6 billion, is listed by Forbes magazine as one of Europe’s youngest billionaires.
