Former Hautlieu student Klaire Garnier, who was living in Germany, died last Tuesday after her motorcycle collided with a Land Rover on a busy road near the town of Füchtorf – 30 miles from her home.
Tomorrow friends of the Islander are organising a ‘ride out’ in her memory, starting from St Catherine’s Breakwater. Organisers are expecting more than 100 vehicles to take part.
