The former Les Quennevais student’s mother Mameal and sister Alana are organising an event at the Bagot Inn in Georgetown.
Mr Lynch was subject to one of the largest search and rescue operations the Island has ever seen after he vanished following a work Christmas party in December last year.
He was missing for eight months until his body was discovered by Jersey Water staff in Handois Reservoir, St Lawrence last month.
The event will start at 6 pm and finish around 9 pm. Balloons are due to be released at around 8.40 pm and a book of condolence will be available to sign.
