Golf day chips in £8,000 for brain tumour charity
A TOTAL of £8,000 was raised for the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity at a recent golf day organised by Rotary Club de la Manche.

The event, which was held at La Moye Golf Club in perfect weather, was won by the JT team consisting of Daragh Mc Dermott, Richard Summerfield, Adrian Peacock and Philip Le Sueur. They were awarded the coveted Rotary Club de la Manche Trophy and a golf bag each.
Investec's team of Stephen Rafferty, Jonathan Sheehan, Chris Fosse and David Nolan were second and each won a pair of golf shoes. Third place went to Advisa's team consisting of Ian Furness, David Steigenburger, Paul Frankland and Graeme Ferguson, who each won a golf jacket.
Nearest the Pin for ladies was won by Ann Yvon of the HSBC Bank team and the men's competition by Mark Healey from Taylormade.
