On the first occasion, the 30-year-old broke his victim’s jaw and tooth as he landed punches and a kick in a dispute over money in Parade Park.
And just six months later, he attacked another man in Parade Gardens after reacting badly to a joke made by the victim.
The court heard he had drunk four litres of spirits with nine friends, got into an argument about money with his victim, the court heard.
