Developers are hoping to secure planning permission to change the use of the old NatWest building opposite St Brelade’s Parish Hall, which closed in 2014.
The scheme has been proposed by John Trant, the managing director of local engineering firm Jayen Ltd.
If approved, the move could also mean the return to the area of a St Aubin stalwart – Labas Miah, who formerly ran the Shapla Indian Restaurant, which closed after 22 years in 2013.
