The 11 Senatorial hopefuls will officially hit the campaign trail at the first hustings at St Saviour Parish Hall at 7.30 pm.
It is the start of an election trail which will see the candidates speak at hustings in each of the 12 parishes.
Plans to replace the traditional format with four larger ‘superhustings’ were scrapped after the nominees rejected the proposed changes last Tuesday, which means that there will be 12 hustings, as well as a drop-in session at the Town Hall between 9 am and 1 pm at St Paul’s Centre on 20 August, in the run-up to polling day on Wednesday 7 September.
The second hustings is due to take place on Tuesday at St Clement’s Parish Hall.
The hustings will be filmed and videos will be available on the vote.je website.
