Many visitors were still waiting to return to the UK yesterday, with dozens of passengers expected to have to remain in the Island until next week.
Alan Donald, group marketing and communications manager at Ports of Jersey, said the Airport was continuing to liaise with hoteliers to ensure that passengers had accommodation while they wait for available flights back to the UK.
