Spotted a pothole? Then report it on the States’ app

The free mobile phone software, called Love Jersey, will offer Islanders and visitors the chance to lodge environment and infrastructure concerns with the government or parish authorities.

It comes with a range of pre-set categories that users can choose from if they spot problems while they are out and about in Jersey, with the app able to use GPS to record where issues are reported.

Users can pick a category, write a short description of the problem and also take a picture to use in the report. Their message is then sent via the app and flagged with the appropriate States department or local parish authority.

The Infrastructure Department would like Islanders to email lovejersey@gov.je with any feedback they have about the app.
