The Fire Service attended the scene, on La Rue a Don, shortly after 8 am and found that a man in one of the vehicles was trapped so used hydraulic rescue tools to rescue him from the wreckage.
As the man’s injuries were minor he was treated on the scene by paramedics, however the lady in the other vehicle was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
