Property owner Ron Mitchell has applied to bring down Le Havret, on Mont de Gouray and Route de la Côte, and build five homes on the site.
According to the plans, which are being handled by MS Planning, the existing building does not make the best use of its space and the scheme proposes the development of four two-bed apartments and one three-bed unit. The house is in a built-up area and is described in a planning statement which accompanies the application as a ‘poorly designed and constructed dwelling that does not use the site efficiently’.
The latest plans follow the rejection of an earlier scheme that was submitted last year – that proposal was refused mainly because of its design and its relationship to the neighbouring properties.
