Half of the Island’s teachers have also said that they are not receiving ‘appropriate support’ from senior management when it comes to dealing with disorderly pupils.
But the vast majority of Jersey teachers are content with their jobs, with 87 per cent saying that they were either ‘fairly’ or ‘very’ satisfied with their current role, according to the inaugural Jersey Teachers’ Survey.
