The band, who are managed by former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, performed three songs and held a question-and-answer session with students from both the primary and secondary schools at St Mary and St Peter Church.
Their visit, which came on the same day they were due to play at the Opera House, was organised by Michelle Gater, whose daughter used to attend the school.
