On Sunday 5 June, The Jersey Royal Company will take part in Open Farm Sunday, an event designed to build public understanding of food and farming.

Although the initiative is in its 11th year, this is the first time that Jersey has taken part and The Jersey Royal Company is inviting Islanders to attend its celebration at a field in Trinity.

Since the first Open Farm Sunday in 2006, more than 1,000 farmers across the UK have opened their gates and welcomed people onto their farm for one Sunday each year and Jersey’s event is being held in the field between Durrell and St Martin’s Arsenal from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission and parking are free.
