All leads exhausted in search for Adrian Lynch

During the last five months detectives have pursued around 560 lines of inquiry and they have held interviews with over 1,000 people and have taken nearly 250 witness statements.

All active leads into the 20-year-old’s disappearance have now been completed but Detective Chief Inspector Lee Turner, senior investigating officer in the case, said two officers will continue reviewing work already carried out to ‘ensure completeness’.

On Saturday Deputy Mike Higgins called on the force to organise a community search for Mr Lynch, who vanished after a work Christmas party on Friday 4 December – the electrician was last seen on CCTV near Thistle Grove commercial estate at 2.17 am.
