- The underpass going eastbound will close between 8.15 am and 8.30 am and traffic for the Harbour coming from the west will go up the slip road onto the overpass and then to the Harbour, while traffic wanting to go east from the underpass will go down Castle Street into Commercial Street, through Conway Street and Bond Street then up Pier Road.

- The Tunnel and Commercial Buildings will close at 8.30 am to normal traffic. The Tunnel will be closed at the eastern end and drivers will be advised not to use Commercial Buildings, but they can turn round by the New North Quay. However traffic that needs to get to the boats will be permitted to go through from the west up the slip road to the overpass and from the east either through the Tunnel or via Commercial Buildings. Officers will be advised of the boat times for freight and passengers.
- Mulcaster Street will be closed from 8 am to south bound traffic and any vehicles coming to this location will have to proceed up Pier Road.
- Vehicles coming from the Harbour can go westbound down the slip road towards Victoria Avenue, and those going east will go through Castle Street and turn into Commercial Street then Conway Street, Bond Street and Pier Road.
- All roads will re-open between 1 pm and 2 pm.
