On Monday 18 April a car mounted the curb on Midvale Road and hit the woman at around 9.10 am.
Both the pedestrian and car were travelling towards David Place. The driver did not stop and fled the scene by passing through a red set of traffic lights in the area.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a black Audi Sport with chrome wing mirrors in the area at the time. Anyone who has information can call 612612.
