According to new figures, which are published inside Friday’s JEP, States staff have spent almost £400,000 on 120 flights each costing over £1,000 since 2011.
Jersey’s international affairs adviser Colin Powell spent £6,852 in 2011 on a return trip to Hong Kong and £6,772 in 2013 travelling to and from Singapore.
The Island’s director of financial services Joe Moynihan spent £6,610 on a trip to Sao Paulo and Lima last year and £6,544 on a 2013 return trip to New York.
