Hundreds of passengers were left stranded over the weekend after sailings of both the high-speed Liberation and Commodore Clipper conventional ferry were cancelled because of technical problems.
The incidents are the latest in a long line that the ferry company has had to deal with over the past 18 months.
And despite the fleet – and particularly the £50 million flagship Liberation – experiencing a string of delays, cancellations and technical problems, Senator Lyndon Farnham on Wednesday told the Economic Affairs Scrutiny Panel that the company had still not breached its operating agreement.
