Ben Newman and John O’Connell, the co-founders of Reasons, which held events at Millbrook Park and Fort Regent last year, and Inspector Mark Coxshall visited the DJ Hannah Wants concert at the Albert Hall in Manchester.
Mr Newman said that they shadowed security teams closely to see how they managed the 3,000-capacity gig and were planning on returning to the UK in the future for similar trips.
Inspector Coxshall said that visits such as this were something the police tried to do whenever possible and he added that he sat in on security team briefings and worked alongside Greater Manchester Police colleagues to see how they dealt with such an event so that he could pass on information to officers in Jersey.
