Salt Ltd, the company behind the Pizza Quarter outlets and The Kiosk – more commonly known as ‘the burger bar’ – on Victoria Avenue, has applied to update the former Joyride Café at Mont de Gorey.
Under the plans, it would become the fourth Pizza Quarter in the Island, offering eat-in and take-away food from the site, which has been empty for about two years.
Several residents in the area have opposed the plans, raising concerns about potential noise and extra traffic on Mont de Gorey if the scheme is approved.
