Jason Maindonald from the Jersey Development Company said: ‘We’ve looked at the weather forecast and due to the expected conditions and high winds we’ve made the decision that it would be safer and better for everyone’s enjoyment to do it on Sunday.
‘They are forecasting 36 to 46 mph winds on Friday and 26 to 36 mph winds on Saturday, but just 5 mph on Sunday, so it’s looking like that’s going to be the best day to hold it.’
