Are rising sea temperatures proof that Jersey is feeling the effects of global warming?

From 1987 to 2012, average annual temperatures jumped from around 12.2°C to 12.9°C and, despite fluctuating readings since 1946, there has been a fast and constant increase since the late 1980s.
