Chamber president James Filleul told a Scrutiny panel yesterday: ‘The Island is banking on economic growth but I don’t see anything in the budget to achieve that.’
The Chamber president described the forecast deficits as a ‘wake-up call’ on spending. ‘We need to look at States expenditure in a much more revolutionary way.’
