Hi-tech future for the public sector

‘Everywhere you look reform is beginning to take hold, especially in key departments like Health and Education, where it is most needed. But there is still much to do,’ Senator Maclean said, adding that technology would play a key role in reforming the public sector.

The minister told members of the Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors at a lunch at the Grand Hotel that the initial focus was on five areas, including ‘e-government’ and ‘workforce modernisation’.
