Tributes paid after diving tragedy
Jillian Smith (41) was diving with her husband and a friend in shallow water by the Breakwater on Saturday afternoon when she became separated from the group.
The mother-of-one was quickly found by one of the divers and given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation while being brought to the shore and on the slipway. But efforts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.
Tributes were paid to her this morning by staff at the trust company Minerva Trust she worked as a trust officer.
