Islander nominated for a BAFTA

It’s the second time the 33-year-old has received a BAFTA nomination, having previously received a nod in the same category in 2011 for his short film Rite.

The awards take place on Sunday evening at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden and will be televised on BBC One from 9 pm, with the short film winner usually announced over the end credits.
