The parish will have the chance to apply for States funding to make improvements and parishioners are being given the chance to voice their opinion on any proposed works.
An initial consultation with residents has already been carried out, and three scenarios which will be revealed at the workshop have been drawn up as a result of those discussions.
St Mary Constable Juliette Gallichan said: ‘We wanted to find out how
people wanted to move around the parish and the village. St Mary has very narrow roads but is also a very busy route to the west of the Island. It’s not always easy or safe to walk around the parish.’
‘Transport and Technical Services have worked out three proposals and these will be discussed at the meeting.’
