Vitor Fernandes was killed when his car collided with another vehicle at the First Tower junction on Victoria Avenue last Monday.
Two other people were injured in the accident but both have since been released from hospital.
Social media has been flooded with tributes to Mr Fernandes, who has been described as a friendly and upbeat young man.
His friends and his colleagues at Roberts Garage have organised the drive, which will start at Le Braye in St Ouen’s Bay and travel across Jersey before finishing at St Catherine’s Breakwater.
The event begins at 7 pm at Le Braye. Fundraising stickers in the shape of Mr Fernandes’ car will be on sale for £2, with all profits going to help his family with funeral costs.
