The 55-year-old told Lee Albert de Mouilpied between 23 February and 26 February 2010 that he was the focus of an inquiry into child sex abuse, despite being warned not to by police.
She admitted perverting the course of justice by supplying the information to de Mouilpied, which gave him time to delete incriminating images and films from his computer. However, the police were able to recover the computer files.
The defendant also admitted perjury by lying, while under oath in the witness box, at de Mouilpied’s subsequent trial for downloading 625 indecent images of children. He is currently serving a seven-year jail term.
