The 97-year-old was a founder member and former president of the L’Assembliée d’Jérriais and gave a lifetime of commitment to St Saviour’s Women’s Institute, Eden Chapel and the Jersey Eisteddfod.
She was also in the Accordion Club and a great supporter of Les Conteurs Singers.
Describing her mother, St Saviour Constable Sadie Rennard, said: ‘She was somebody who loved life and was always entertaining. She was someone who said, “I want to go and entertain the old folk,” when she was old herself.’
