One of 15 players from the Appleby Academy attending, Tupper dropped just one game in the section where he emerged a 3-0 victor in the final against Staffordshire’s Stephen Ward.
Tupper was focused and consistent throughout and he made very few errors.
Tupper won the same title as Josh Band in 2008. It is the Island’s fourth UK tournament success; the others were Kelsey Le Maistre, band one in Grantham last December and Band’s U18 Open success in Essex in 2009.
