In the driving seat: Kevin Lewis

Kevin Lewis, a St Saviour Deputy and cinema enthusiast, owns an Alvis Stalwart ‘Stolly’ six-wheeled amphibious vehicle that he took to the UK in 2007 to help during the severe flooding.

Aston martin DB5. I was offered one in 1969 for £650 and turned it down, well that was a lot of money back then

In my book it just has to be ‘Bullitt’ starring Steve McQueen

The Renault with the bump under the windscreen

A Fiat Punto

Aston Martin DB5. I think I have seen too many Bond films!

Off-road driving and British Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton of McLaren-Mercedes

To drive/cruise from St Catherine’s to Carteret in my Alvis Stalwart

Not bad

Good maps and plenty of still drinks

How could Jersey’s roads be improved?

Widen the end of the duel carriageway, redesign the roundabout at Beaumont and set all traffic lights to prioritise main roads out of town at five o’clock and get people home

Do you clean your car and how often?

Not very often. My States colleagues call my car the skip on wheels
