Occupation veteran is honoured with portrait

Mr Le Sueur found out earlier in the year that he had been chosen as the subject of the 2007 Jersey Heritage Trust Portrait Commission.

He was nominated for his contribution to Island life since the 1940s. Now in his 80s, Mr Le Sueur continues to be a volunteer for a large number of organisations, including the Société Jersiaise, the National Trust for Jersey, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, the Channel Islands Occupation Society, Concern and Amnesty International.
