Style Shopfitting have taken architect Richard Le Sueur to court for failing to pay invoices relating to windows he had installed in his home at Les Hativeaux, St Ouen. Mr Le Sueur, who has won a Jersey Design award for restoring old farmhouses, will not pay the bill because he says that Style have failed to fulfil the contract. In court papers Mr Le Sueur says: ‘Overall, I am happy with the quality of the product, but I have serious concerns regarding many other matters, the main one being the structural integrity of the windows in the garden room.’ But Style Shopfitting claim that the work they carried out was successfully completed under the terms of the contract last year.
