It follows news that Jersey Conservative Party member Darius Pearce will challenge sitting Constable Simon Crowcroft who is seeking his third term of office. JDA candidate Alvin Aaron is the owner of Hot Stuff Pizza. He was born and now lives in the parish after travelling extensively. He said: ‘Living and working in the parish over the past 16 years, I believe I understand the frustrations and concerns of residents expressed to me by customers from all walks of life. ‘If elected I will look to support and encourage small businesses in the parish, in the face of increased competition from UK and international chains. I will fight for the regeneration of the town centre and want to see a vibrant town which is an attractive place to visit. I will work to ensure our streets are kept clean, our streets are made safe, essential capital is provided for the Town Park and Fort Regent and the town centre remains viable for small local businesses.’
