We’ll cut planning errors, promises minister

The Senator believes that a string of high-profile mistakes by the Planning Department has let down their fee-paying clients. He has appointed a civil servant as a temporary business manager to review planning procedures and find out where the department is going wrong. ‘There has been a whole string of mistakes recently. We are not providing the service that we owe the public,’ he said. ‘These are fee-paying clients and they are entitled to a decent service. Hopefully we will be able to stem the errors.’
