The school first opened its doors in October 1917 and over the coming year will hold a number of celebratory events. Primary head teacher Peter Murray said that it was important that the school celebrated such an important landmark in its history. ‘The anniversary commemorates the 90 years that the college has been providing a service for families in Jersey who want a Christian education for their sons,’ he said. ‘On our opening day, 1 October 1917, there were just 12 students whereas today we have more than 800.’
