Ricky Figueira bagged all the Saints’ goals in a 3-1 success keeping them a point clear at the top but now from St Paul’s – 2-0 winners at St Saviour against First Tower where Joe Goaziou and Tom Brennan were on target.

St Clement collected their first points of the season after a brace of goals by Jason De Nobrega helped them to a 2-1 win at Le Couvent against Rozel Rovers.

Champions Jersey Wanderers also suffered a defeat in the under-16 division, 4-1 at the Hockey Club by Trinity who retained their 100 per cent record from three games.

Reuben Pestana notched a pair and Aaron Young and Alex Carpenter singles for Trinity with Wanderers registering through Johnny Hickling.

Rozel Rovers and St Paul’s both won for the second time, Rozel 5-3 at St Ouen and St Paul’s 5-2 at St John.

Luke Trotter (two), Michael Pallot, Chris Martins and Charlie Skrzypczak were on target for the Rovers and James Brown and Joe Bevis together with an own goal for St Ouen.

Norman Carroll (two), Daniel Tostevin, Jack Scurr and Zeljko Martinovic netted for St Paul’s and Jon Le Blancq and Matthew Fielding for St John.

Kurtis Guthrie and Jake Hudson each scored twice in St Clement’s 4-2 home victory against St Peter.

First Tower continue to blow the opposition away in under-14 Division I after returning 15-0 winners from Le Couvent against Rozel Rovers.

Marco Zocchi, who spent a week at Southampton in the summer and has been asked to return to play against Tottenham on 14 October, was the day’s top individual marksman returning a seven-goal haul.

Charlie Petulla and John Tardivel bagged hat-tricks and Elliot Poole and Ross Powell singles.

Tower have scored 51 goals in their three games which is just four fewer than the other eight clubs in the division have managed together! Asha Moyse bagged a brace and Joel Le Boustouler a single in St Clement A’s 5-3 home defeat by St Paul’s A.

Richard Streets notched St John’s consolation in a 3-1 defeat by Jersey Wanderers A at St John.

Wanderers’ marksmen were Bradley Stratford (two) and Kieran Brennan.

St Peter A beat near-neighbours St Brelade 3-1 at St Peter where James Carolan (two) and Luke Savva registered for the winners and Thomas Murphy for the losers.

St Paul’s B and St Ouen retained their 100 per cent records in Division II.

Matti McGhee and Jamie Burrows scored hat-tricks and Danny Brannan a single in St Paul’s B’s 7-1 win at St Saviour against St Clement B.

St Ouen scored three times in the closing minutes to give them a flattering 6-2 victory over Beeches Olds Boys at the FB Fields.

Tom Murray and James Auckland were on target for Beeches and Jordan Sewrey, Chris Ferey, Chris Hansen, Callum Coote, Richard Guilleaume and Sam Bisson for St Ouen.
