The attack took place in a property in Val Plaisant between 10.30 pm and 11 pm and left her deeply traumatised. The police received a desperate call just before 11 pm with the girl sceaming for help. By the time officers arrived moments later, she was being comforted by a passer-by. The girl was today being helped by specially trained officers, but detectives said that it was too early to know any specifics about her ordeal. At a press conference this morning, Insp Chris Beechey, the head of the force’s reactive investigation unit, appealed to Islanders for help in the hunt for the attacker.
