The 58-year-old woman was one of 12 passengers on the bus when it collided with a Mitsubishi Shogun shortly before noon in Rue de la Croix au Maistre in St Martin. Earlier this year, passengers in another Connex bus were injured when the driver performed an emergency stop in Longueville Road. At that time, a car was alleged to have pulled out in front of the bus as it was about to stop. This morning, a spokesman from Connex said that the company was trying to contact the woman who was injured via the Hospital to find out her condition and hoped that she soon recovered. ‘Safety is of paramount importance to us,’ the spokesman said.
