From over 1,000 competitors initially, the competition was eventually won by the UK’s John Underwood with a score of 150.24.
Meanwhile the Jersey shooters also won the Dominion prize for the best overseas-based shooting team and were fifth in Saturday’s Mackinnon team match, behind England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales but ahead of both Canada and Guernsey.
Individually in the Queen’s final Colin Mallett finished 47th with 285 points.
David Le Quesne scored 283 ahead of Jersey’s Andrew Le Cheminant.
The Army’s J Lewis top-scored with 293 points.
