Don’t register for GST, small hoteliers told

Mr Lowthorpe made a speech regarding the implementation of GST, which is due to start at the end of April next year, at the Jersey Hospitality Association members forum on Friday.

In answer to a question from the floor about whether or not businesses with a turnover below £300,000 should register, Mr Lowthorpe said: ‘Members of the hospitality association below the threshold are better off not registered.
