Veerleft, based at Portman House in Hue Street, was set up in January by Jamie Moss, who has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry and was previously IT manager at Ernst & Young.
Since 2001 he has worked for two smaller IT firms and recently decided to set up his own business.
‘I saw a gap in the market and at the moment there are continued reports of strong economic growth and a number of new businesses are being established, all needing some form of IT support.
Mr Moss said that although there was already a wealth of established professional services providers in the Channel Islands, a number of smaller businesses did not feel they were getting the level of service they deserved because larger financial organisations always took priority.
‘Our packages are designed purposely for them,’ he said.
