Jersey’s fifth consecutive defeat, at the Venetoklio Indoor Stadium, came about after they held a slender early advantage only to trail 36-29 at half-time.
The closest they came to Guernsey again was to get to within three points on one occasion.
Unfortunately a few Guernsey supporters in a crowd of 60 who were happily chanting and supporting their team in style made unsporting noises throughout the match when Jersey’s players were taking free throws at the basket.
